Another day of wildflowers and a captivating sunset. As another high school senior is ready to tackle their next season I can’t help but be overwhelmed with so much gratitude that I can continually provide custom portraiture that I am always proud to curate. I love every step fo the process. From meeting my clients before our shoot so we can get to know each other better, to coordinating outfits, to our shooting time, and processing of the final images. There is not other job meant for me and I am so fortunate that I can continue to do what I do.
Adia, go tackle this world. She is waiting for all the great things you are going to do to make it better.
Hallelujah! I have prayed to the weather gods to give me just one more day of wildflowers before they are burned off by the San Diego sun, and my prayers have been answered. Just like Emily’s session I was able to conquere TWO of the most requested locations…the beach and a field of wildflowers. Thank you, JESUS!
One of the reasons I just love working with seniors is because they are so carefree. Each and everyone of them open up and are completely comfortable in their own skin. And if they are not comfortable in front of the camera it will show, so it is so important, as an artist, to connect with them so they can really give me all that I need in making each session successful! Right from the first click to the last capture Megan did just that.
I am still booking senior sessions. I have a few spots left before June. You can contact me by email me at karen@pixelcreekphotography or call/text at 619-985-3867. I would love to work with you!
Megan, Much luck to you and the new adventures that await. You certainly shined in front of my lens.
Spring has sprung! And with all the rain a little bit of Heaven has been popping up everywhere. What a treat for us photographers shooting in Southern California! Our prayers have been answered!
Emily choose the perfect time for her high school senior portraits. We were able to shoot in open fields which otherwise are cut back for fire maintenance. After that we sprinted to the ocean to capture the warm glow of the sun setting. Truly stunning.
Emily asked to incorporate her love of softball, the beach, and the organic feel of nature into her final product. And with our text, calls, and a one to one meeting we were able to finalize location and outfit selection to achieve exactly what she wanted.
Wishing you nothing but the best as you finish out your senior year and head into the next season of your life. Go get ’em kid!
Friends since they were little boys, they are now ready for their next season of growing up. No doubt things change after high school but I have a feeling these boys will always hold each other near and dear. What a great way to capture friendship by holding senior sessions together. These images will always be gems as they go through life together. Wishing these boys a future full of adventure, good fortune, and memories to last a lifetime.
