If you have not been to the Water Conservation Garden next to Cuyamaca College in Rancho San Diego, you should add it on your list of places to visit. I can not tell you how many times I have passed this garden and never knew it existed. Water conservation is BIG here in California and it is nice to know that you can still have a beautiful garden and landscaped yard without using and wasting this much needed and depleting resource. This is a wonderful and scenic place to take your children or your other half. You can sit at the many tables and benches located throughout the garden. There is soothing music playing in the background and you can even purchase plants at a reasonable rate. If you need to detox from the fast California life, this is the place to be.
My girlfriend Aimee suggested this location for a session for her three little ones all under the age of five. Having not been there before and in need of more good places to shoot I was so happy that I could explore a new location. With all the running around, laughing, smiling, and playing there wasn’t one dull moment with the time I spent with them, right Aimee?! Her children are fun and all around good kids. I try and surround myself with people like the Lunde family because their personalities are infectious.
